LOGO FILE SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Everything Engravable™ uses top digital technology to produce the engravings on your chosen products. There are two types of engraving possible:
1) Text-only engraving: Text-only engraving does not require any special file submission. Everything Engravable ™ has a wide variety of fonts to execute a beautiful engraving.
2) Image File engraving: For engraving logos and any other images, Everything Engravable™ requires submission of an image file. The quality of the engraving is highly dependent on the quality of the file you submit. Please use the following suggestions to get the best quality engraving from the file you submit:
a. The best quality will always come from VECTOR files (.ai or .eps). If you are purchasing engraving for your company, it is always best to contact the designer who created your logo, unless you have the original logo file in VECTOR format on hand. Scans of printed logos are usually NOT sufficient quality to create a quality engraving.
b. If the only files you have available are RASTER files (.jpg, .bmp. or .gif), if the file is 300 dpi or greater, it is possible to execute a good quality engraving, but may require additional design charges to adapt it into a usable format. Files smaller than 300 dpi can be used, but are dependent on the complexity of the logo or image. It is also possible that some elements may need to be recreated and may not match the original logo exactly.
c. If you do not have an electronic format file for your logo, please call to discover what can be done to create a quality engraving, and most importantly, the time and possible additional charges that would be required to do so.
